Jag is BOUNCIN'

This was the first time that Jaggar got on the zebra and bounced on his own. Then, he even got off...which is not on the video. I guess I was in denial that he's big enough to do this. What a good boy!

Koozie Kids

I always feel bad for my kids in the morning when it's cold, having to hold their cold cups with milk or juice in them. So, I decided to do a little project for both of them. I have been putting koozies on their cups for awhile now, but they are not cute. I wanted to cute them up for my kids....So that is what I did.

Jaggar's is pretty plain, but that's what you get when you have a boy sometimes. =)

But I do love Presleys. I have so many ideas now....but I am sure that will be just in time for summer =(

And here is the last...for either kid =)

Zoo Date!

We had a fun day on Tuesday at the Zoo with some good friends. These are friends that have been in my life for many years and I love them to death. Now that we all have kids, it's so fun to see them all play together...and all play SO WELL together.
It was a BEAUTIFUL day on Tuesday so we spent about 3 hours there walking around and letting the kids play.

Keeping it in the Family...

My conversation tonight with Presley while putting her to bed, went as so:

Me: Do you know what tomorrow is?
Pres: What?
Me: It's mine and Daddy's anniversary. That means that 8 years ago tomorrow, we got married.
Pres: And you gave Daddy one, and he gave you one?
Me: You mean rings?
Pres: Yes. I want a ring.
Me: You will get married some day too and you will get a ring.
Pres: Married to Daddy?
Me: No, you will marry another boy.
Pres: I want to marry Daddy though.
Me: Ok
Pres: I will marry Daddy, and when Jaggar gets bigger, you can marry him.

END. OF. STORY.

So that's the way it will go apparently. What a girl. She really thinks about things. It's so innocent and I love it.

Valentine Ball

So today while Jaggar was napping, I got a quick idea and went with it. I have a lot of flowers that I have bought for headbands but haven't used since so many BOYS have been born. So I put this together for Valentine's for my front door, and thought it turned out pretty dang cute. I get so many more ideas from this and can't wait to get to do them!

Oh Pres, You really keep us entertained!

So randomly, Presley will just start to tell a story. She will use words out of context that she has recently learned. She likes the word "actually" which you will hear a couple time in the beginning. Then, she attempts to use the word "attend" as well. It's very entertaining!

These next videos are of Presley "ice skating" with the books on her feet and singing. I was hysterical in the second because she is such a character.

My Dad is 65!

65!!!! I used to think that was so old...but I no longer do, now that MY Dad is 65!

On Sunday night we had my Dad over to the house for some chili and cake. It was a nice night and the kids are always excited to see my parents.

Happy Birthday Dad...We love you so much!

Our quiet New Years...

This year we stayed home and didn't do a dang thing for New Years. It was SO nice! I made homemade pot pies during the day which was the first time I had done that...(even the crust)...so I was excited to eat dinner! It turned out perfect and I got a "Atta Girl" from Preston so that means it was Good!!
My Mom and Dad came over earlier in the day and played with the kids and took them out for a walk which was a nice little break for me...
OH, and we cannot forget to mention that we skyped with the Smiths for 2 HOURS since they were laying low that night too. Usually we are all together on New Years, so, we didn't want to change the tradition we have going ;) (better, shannon?)
Here is how we brought in the New Year!

Our delicious Chicken Pot Pie..

January 1, 2011

So unfortunately for me, I have to make the same "New Years Resolution" for 2011. Although, it is slightly different.

Every year I say my resolution is to "lose weight", but this year, it's TO GET HEALTHY. I really need to get on track and feel good. I don't care if I am a size 3...but I need to feel better about what I am putting into my body. I try to make sure my kids are eating healthy and getting their fruits and veggies with every meal, but then I will skip breakfast and lunch just to eat cookies. As delicious as it is, it's not right.

So, if you are reading this, I ask you one thing...Can you please keep me accountable? Ask me how the eating/exercising is going? Just to be asked will keep me going!

I need this, I want this and I CAN DO THIS!

So, here I am folks. Nice and chunky and feeling uncomfortable..... OH, it's on 2011.
