My little sickie...

As of Sunday morning, my little Jaggar started to have a fever. My first thought was that it has to be teething, but then it got to 102 and I ruled that one out. Then, my next thought was an ear infection since both kids have had a number of them. (He seemed to be very uncomfortable at night and we got to see each other many times.) :(  So I made an appt for him to see the doctor on Monday morning at 10:10am. After he woke up, he didn't have a fever anymore so I thought I would change it to later in the day to see how he did. Well, his naps were not too good and I chalked that up to him not feeling good even if he no longer had the fever.
So, we went to his 3:20pm appt and found out that he has strep throat! WHAT? My 11 month old baby boy has STREP? I didn't even think this was possible yet!

Praying that this Amoxicillin will be kicking in soon and he will start to feel good again! His sister gets to take the meds too since it's inevitable that she would get it too!

So, this is a nice week to stay at home and watch movies and play inside since it's supposed to rain....So that is what we will do!

SO thankful for my kids...

Suns vs. Jazz

What a fun night we had last night! Preston and I dropped the kids off at my parents around 5pm and headed to the stadium. We had box tickets from Discount Tire that we were very excited to use and spend some time ALONE! So, that is just what we did. We go there a little early and ate and then got to relax and wait for the game to begin. I love the atmosphere of going to a game...

Here are are a few pictures from our fun night at the game!

Can't wait for the next game!!

He's Gettin' it!

Just a little update about my Jaggar Boy. He's doing extremely well with no nursing! He has not been nursed since last Wednesday and we are all doing great. By that, I mean, I am not so engorged that I want to VOMIT. (Sounds like I am being dramatic, but I actually made me nauseous at times from the pain!)
He's been on Whole Milk and I have been giving him more food then I was before to make sure he was good and full before bed. I have not gone in his room at night which seems to be working out since last night was the first night that I didn't hear a cry out of him. He slept through the night and SO DID I. I was shocked when I woke up and I felt great!

So, I am praying this continues. I am proud of my boy and happy that the transition has gone so well.

On another note...I am excited to be planning Jaggar's ONE year birthday!! Here is a picture of our cute little Sailor :)
