Jaggar is CUT OFF!

I remember thinking when I was nursing with Presley that it was SO GROSS when people would nurse there babies til they were 1 year old. I remember also thinking, the moment teeth came in, those women were friggen NUTS to keep going! ....

Well, I am one of those women. I have nursed Jaggar up until this point and he is 10 1/2 months. I had the supply, so I went with it. It's been nice, but I am DONE! :)

Let me go back about a month...My little darling son (sense the sarcasm?) decided to bite down while eating. You are NEVER ready for this. So, he actually bit through and made me bleed. I couldn't believe it! I yelled quite loud and scared the crap outta him. Afterwards thinking, well, maybe that scared him enough to not do it again. Nope, Nope...No such luck. He has done it a few other times and it just sucks..bad. (or should I say "It BITES!) ;)

So, yesterday was the day. I have come to terms with the fact that I am done nursing. (Since I have been giving Jaggar milk, I think he knew it was coming anyways, ha!) I have LOVED it. I am going to miss it. Not the actual nursing part, but I am going to miss holding my little baby boy for at least 5-10 minutes, 3-4 times a day, without him squirming or wanting to get down. That was OUR time...just me and my sweet little boy. I didn't think I would get sentimental, but now I am tearing up. :(

SO, If any of you know about quitting nursing...IT HURTS! The milk does not just stop coming in ...AAHHH! So, this part is NO BUENO, but it's worth it :) Not only that, but Jaggar has not been a good night sleeper since he was about 5 months old. I don't know what happened, but he stopped sleeping 8 hours a night and went to waking up every 3 or so. It's been udder torture. So, to get him to go back down I did the fastest thing I could, and that would be to nurse him. Well, last night I had to "man up" and let my sweet cute Jaggar cry himself back to sleep many times without me going in there. But, I DID IT! And, to my surprise, so did he. I am proud of him, and I am proud of me.

So, although this chapter of our life is over, I will always remember the sweet times that we had, just him and I, while nursing. It was a HUGE blessing from God that I could do that for my boy,  Jaggar! I love you Son.

Family Zoo Trip!

So we did it. We got a Zoo membership! We are so excited :) So, yesterday, our little family went to the Zoo. Because of the membership, we were able to get in  an hour before the zoo actually opened and due to it not exactly being zoo weather, there was no one there!

Per the weather channel, yesterday was supposed to be 106 degrees...but we went anyways. It ended up being nice. We got there around 8am and left around 11am. The kids had a BLAST. Jaggar loved sitting in the wagon and looking around and Presley was out most of the time running around like a maniac!

The last hour of the trip, the kids played in the splash pad. It was Jaggar's first time going in one but he loved it and did so well. It's so nice to get to this point where he can actually play and have some fun. These are the times when you look at your family of four and say, "I think this is it, I think we are done having kids!" We will see though.

It's the little things and simple things that seem to make Jaggar laugh. You will know what I mean in the video's below. Enjoy watching our cute Jaggar crack up at Presley.

Jaggar Communicates!!

We are very excited that Jaggar is staring to learn a little sign language. It's so nice at all of the communication stages. I love when they can tell me what they want! Here are a couple videos of Jaggar saying (signing) "more".

Presley's 3rd Birthday Party

What a day! Although Presley's birthday was 2 weeks ago, we were moving at that time and so we did her party on Sept, 12th. Everything went so well and she was so happy to see all of her friends and play.

Here are a few pictures I took...but Uncle Brad took about 200 so there will be more to come!

Jaggar Walking with the Walker...

I was not ready for this. I gave Jaggar Presley's old walker this morning and he just up and went! I couldn't believe it! Gets up on it on his own and just walks around the house. Even got up on it in the play room and came around the corner to the living room with it. CRAZY!

Nice Mornings....

By no means is it nice outside during the day yet, but the morning, it's nice with a little breeze and the kids LOVE being outside. So, this morning I put them together in the wagon for the first time. Jaggar doesn't love the stroller so I was not sure how this would go. He was SO happy in there. Never made a peep....looooved it. It was so enjoyable. Here are a few pictures of them having a little fun.

The sun was in both their eyes so they didn't look, but it's cute anyways...

Fall Wreath

I am getting into the fall spirit and trying to craft a little. This one was no big deal but I think it turned out cute. I had made this wreath 2 years ago, but this year I thought I would spruce it up a little and add a letter "S" for Stillman. It was simple and I love it.
