I thought I would post this little clip of Presley. She has officially learned the word "Gorgeous"...do you think that she hears it enough?! ha... Just thought it was cute. As I am sitting here typing this, I hear her in the living room saying it while she is playing. She's so special.

Christmas 2008

We had a GREAT Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve we went to my parents house where we hung out with them and my sisters family. Then on Christmas Day, my parents came over for the day and Preston's Dad and Step Mom came over for just a bit to bring some gifts and visit.
It was so nice. We had a breakfast for Christmas Eve dinner, and we had Ribs and twice baked potatoes for Christmas dinner. Here are a few pictures from Christmas Eve.

Both Logan and Presley were sick on Christmas Eve night. Presley's temp spiked to 102 while at my parents house and Logan had an aweful cough. Dispite the sick kids...it was a GREAT night and they had fun anyways!

Thought I would just post a few pictures of things that are happening around here. Above is just a picture of Presley in the car on our way to Nana and Papa's house yesterday. Just thought she looked cute a cozy.

Yesterday my parents so graciously took Presley for a few hours so that Preston and I could go see a movie together. We went to see 7 pounds and it was really good. It was REALLY nice to get out and to have a little date. After we were done, we came back home and did some cleaning up around the house and then my parents brought Pres back home. Here is my mom and Presley playing in our front room...

Presley just figured out that I can blow bubbles with my gum so that is VERY exciting to her and she now wants to pop every one!..

IT'S SNOWING!!!

So tonight Daddy had a work dinner to go to, so we went with Presley's best friends to Tempe Marketplace. At 7pm it starts to SNOW!!! The kids were VERY VERY excited! Presley had a ball....and so did we! Here are a few pictures to prove it!

Santa Baby

Yesterday while at the Mall, we decided to have Presley meet SANTA CLAUS!! She was a good girl. A little weary of him, but she did really well.

This year has become so fun since she knows what is going on. Last year she was so little and I failed as a mother and did not get her picture taken with Mr. Claus! BUT, I am just happy she is having so much fun! Her new word is "SNOWY" meaning, Snowman. We walk around our neighborhood and that is all that she says the whole way. It's precious.

Thanksgiving 2008

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving this year. We had family over as usual and had a great meal. This was the first year that Presley could actually eat everything so that was so fun! She loved everything. I think that she likes to eat....Just like her Daddy and Mama! lol

It was a nice day and we are so Thankful for the family and Friends that we have been blessed with.

We officially have a WALKER!!!

Well, after much effort and lots of practice, we officially have a little walker. It has taken Presley 3 days shy of her "15 month birthday" to walk, but it finally has happened. She is walking around the whole house now. She falls and gets right back up...what a trooper. We taped a little bit of her walking to the christmas tree last night. It's so fun and she gets so excited!

I also wanted to post a couple pictures I took this morning of Presley in her new beanie from Aunt Lindsey who lives in California. She is going to be nice and cozy this winter (if we actually have a winter..ha). Thanks Linz!

Just a little play time..

So, our backyard was highly neglected this summer so we are in the process of getting it back to looking nice....needless to say, it's not looking too nice yet. BUT, we decided to let Presley start playing back there with Chloe and we took some pictures. ENJOY!

I have to say, it was hard to stop posting pictures. She really worked good with the camera this day (ha) and I just kept taking picture after picture =)

Presley's First Cardinals Game!

We had a very exciting night last night. Our friends Mark and Shannon got tickets to the Cardinals game for both of our families...not only a Cardinals game, but Presley's FIRST GAME EVER!....AND THEY WON!

We got there nice and early and had plenty of time to let Presley walk around and check the place out. Here are a few pictures of our fun night!

Our New Addition...CHLOE

So today Presley and I made a trip out to Queen Creek to pick up a new addition to our family. She is a cockapoo and her name is Chloe. She is all black with just a little white on the underneath. She is perfect.

She loves to play with Presley....(and looks quite delightful in her cherry dress..thanks to Aunt Shannon and her play buddy Sassy)

Now it's time to start the potty training......Aw geez!

MY VOTE COUNTS!

Today Presley and I went to the polls to put our vote in. There was not a person in line so we made it through with no problem. Everyone even got to admire Presley's purple flower =)

Here is the big girl after her first big REPUBLICAN vote! She even got her own sticker that says "I Voted".

Monday already?

Ugh! The weekend goes so fast!!

We had a nice relaxing day yesterday. Nana and Papa came over to see Presley and play. She loves that! Presley is getting so interactive with Preston and I and that is so encouraging. It's fun to play with her. She is such a little person now. We decided to take some pictures of our little family while we were playing on the couch.

Had to put this one...Preston and I just love her teeth!

So, it's back to work now.. =(

Presley's Ballerina Halloween

Although this is not Presley's FIRST Halloween, it was the first Halloween that she was dressed up for. She was a little ballerina, and a beautiful one she was. This year we went to Mesa Baptist Church and did a "Trunk or Treat". We were out all day and Presley was EXHAUSTED by the time we were ready to get candy.

Giving in...

Giving in to the Blog...I should have known that I would do it. I tried and tried to convince myself that I did NOT need to have ANOTHER obsession, but oh well. Figured this is a good way for the family that I don't see much to keep up with our lives and to keep up with baby girl Presley.

We will see how it goes....
