NO BITING!

I just can't believe it! My little Jaggar has a tooth! As the milestones hit with him, it gets harder and harder as a mom to realize my baby is growing up. When Presley was a baby, I wanted her to do things so quickly, so when they happened, I felt like I was waiting forever for them! (Although I truly did wait forever for Pres to walk...it was not until 15 months. Um, I think we chalk this up to L A Z Y)

With Jaggar, it's a completely different story. We are not sure if we are done having kids or not, but we are swaying more towards "being done", then the other. We love the way things are right now. It's easy (on most days) and it's just nice having one parent for each kid. Anyways...

So he has a tooth. I have been feeling his gums everyday for I can't tell you how long! He has been drooling so much for so long that I feel like he should have a full mouth full at this point.

We did have one VERY hard week at night with no sleep, but other then that, I have to say, he's been a breeze during the break through of this first tooth! (I am sure that I am jinxing myself right now too...)

Anyways...there were many attempts to try to get a picture of his little tooth but no luck. It's really too small to see right now. I will post one when he's cooperating!

I am blessed

I feel as though I am extremely blessed to have the kids that I do. Presley and Jaggar love each other so much and you can see that even with Jaggar only being 6 months old. It's so fun to watch them.

Throughout the day, when Jaggar is playing with his toys and I am busy getting things done around the house, I hear and see Presley going over to Jaggar and making the most ANNOYING noises. Now, normally I would say.."Presley, stop being so loud, please"..or something along those lines, BUT, when I hear Jaggar laughing at the top of his lungs, I refrain. I LOOOVE to hear the sounds of my kids laughing.

Here is just one example of how Presley makes Jaggar laugh. And I love it.

Our CA Trip

Back in January, we got our tickets to fly to CA to see the Stillmans' there. We were very excited and then had a few months to wait. It was a blast and the kids had so much fun. Presley had the other girls to play with (which this trip they were older so they had a lot of fun playing and interacting) and Jaggar had a friend too!! His cousin Wyatt Cole is only 4 days younger then him so it was fun to see the similarities and differences between the two. (He also had his cousin Lily but since she was only a week and a half old, she pretty much slept ;) )

The flight there and back were both perfect. On the way there we did have a stop, but we got to stay on the plane, so it just gave Pres and chance to walk around a little and get out of her seat. Jaggar pretty much slept the whole trip both ways so that ideal.

We love going to see the CA Stills. It's comfortable and relaxing all in the same. We felt at home.

While there, Jaggar ended up getting his very first ear infection. Not only an ear infection, but a DOUBLE ear infection. SOOO not fun. He was quite fussy. We were able to take him to an Urgent Care there in Oakland and got meds in him right away and before we knew it, he was smilie again. Thank GOD!

Then, after he started to get better, I got a cold, Preston got a cold and then Presley got a cold. Man! We just couldn't win. SO, although we didn't get to go out and do some of the things we originally wanted to, it was fun anyways.

Easter

So I am what you call WAY BEHIND with my blogging. So, here are a few posts to catch you all up on whats been going on lately. Easter was SO fun. It's so fun having 2 kids now. The night before Easter, we did rice krispy eggs. I melted chocolate and had different sprinkles and she got to make the biggest mess and get a sugar high.

Presley is to the age where she is appreciating her gifts and she knows what she wants and we know what to get her. So...in the morning we started with her Easter basket.

(Jaggar...you are too little to even care, so you just got a toy. Sorry.)

Then, we went to church and ended the day at my parents house to hang out and relax.

Presley's First Owies :(

So our girl is not so little anymore. I feel like there are stages in the kids lives that all of a sudden I realize how much they are growing up. This last week I got one of those for Pres.

Our family was at the park and there were a couple other moms there with their kids. They were all playing alone at first and then I looked over at Presley at the end of the slide and she was BELLY laughing with another little girl who was about 4 years old. I thought "now seriously, what the heck could they be laughing about?". I went over and heard the little girl saying to Presley, "Are you really 4 years old"..to this Presley answered "Yes!". Oh geez. Apparently this was funny to them. Then a few minutes later, I am standing talking with Preston and we look over and Pres is standing with 2 other little girls having a "conversation". Preston and I looked at each other in shock. How can our little girl be standing with a group of little girls talking and understand each other? This just came WAY to fast.

Our little girl IS growing up.

So, this picture below is not the worst thing you will see, but for Presley, this is. She talks about it quite a few times a day and has a band-aid on it at all times. Poor little Presley.

Jaggar eats rice cereal!

So, today (3-15-2010) is the first time that we have tried rice cereal with a spoon. Definately a new experience and I must say, he's doing quite well. It's bitter sweet. I love the new stages, but it's hard knowing that he's growing up and not going to be a "baby" for long. :(

Although Presley and Jaggar are not that far apart in age (2 years 3 months), it felt like I had never had a child before when Jaggar was born in some aspects. I can't remember a lot of things and have to look back at Presley's baby book to see when she started doing things. Presley didn't ever really love rice cereal, except for when I put some fruit with it. Jaggar seems to really like it.

Here are a few pictures from his first "real" meal.

First bite...Hey, it's new.
