"Lets pray right now"...

Yesterday, I think I sneezed 9,125 times...at least. I was miserable. Presley said "bless you" approximately 9,032 times (she missed a few). So she knew that I was not feeling well. Jaggar was not feeling very good either.
After I put Jaggar down, I went into my bed to lay and relax from feeling like crap all day, and Presley comes in. We talked a little bit and I asked her to pray for me because I really didn't feel good.
She responds with "Let's pray right now". MY HEART DROPPED. Was this my 3 1/2 year old daughter saying "Lets pray right now"? When I said "Can you pray for Mommy..."....I didn't even know if she would actually say a prayer...but to hear her say that was an amazing feeling.
So, she folds her hands and closes her eyes and proceeds to say this prayer " Dear Jesus, thank you for helping to make Mommy feel better, Thank you that Daddy turned on Pingu on the computer for me, and help Jaggar to feel better too, Thank you, Jesus name we pray, AMEN".
WOW. Just WOW.
That is MY daughter. Mine.

Jag's first "REAL" haircut...

Today Jaggar got his first "real" haircut with the clippers. I was nervous to do it myself, but I have to say, it turned out better then I expected! I went to my parents house to do it figuring I would have more people to keep his attention while I attempted to clean this kids hair up! It worked! My mom bribed him with ice cream, and my dad assisted me to make sure it didn't look choppy! He looks like such a big boy now!

On another note: You will see that Jaggar's face looks a little beat up. He took a good fall on the concrete today too =( I am sure this is just the beginning of many cuts and scrapes...but that didn't make it any easier on his Mommy. =(

Old McDonald had a Farm....

We are SO blessed. Today, we were invited by our friends to go have a fantastic day at the farm! Thank you SO much to Shannon for the invite and to "Uncle" Arie and "Aunt" Shayla for having us! It's was a day that will be remembered forever and talked about for months and months to come!
We learned that on a scale of 1-10 for smell, mine hits an 11 when I don't think that Arie's even gets to a 3. Funny how you can get used to those smells when you are around them so often ;)

The kids had a blast and we are so thankful we were apart of this day!

We forgot about the Ostriches....

Yesterday we packed up and went to the Ostrich Festival at Tumbleweed park. We met my sister and her family there and later my parents met up with us!
This is a big deal for Presley. She really does randomly talk about going there throughout the whole year. Last year Jaggar was small and Presley didn't care,  so we didn't do a lot as far as rides. This year was a whole nother story. Presley saw the rides and games and asked to do EVERYTHING! So, her and I got wrist bands (which, by the way, I think was a rip) and went on rides together.
Her favorites: The sea lion show, the roller coaster, and the Finding Nemo boat ride.
MY favorite part was listening to Presley laugh her fool head off for the first few minutes of each ride. Her laugh was contagious!
It was a warm day so it was nice to get on the rides and have a little wind blowing through our hair. I am so thankful for days like that that we can spend the day as a family and have fun.

We completely forgot about even seeing the Ostriches, so I guess this means we were having too much fun. =)

Waiting to get on the Nemo ride...

I hate goodbyes...

This past 9 days we had A LOT of family staying with us. Both of Preston's brothers from California brought their families and each family had their own room....with their family of 4 in it. There were 12 ppl living in our 1600 sq ft home. It was INSANE, but in a good way. We had a lot of fun. All of the kids are close in age so they all get along really well. I almost wish that they wouldn't have gotten along so well...the "goodbye" would have been A LOT easier.

You can tell that these brothers did not grow up together and are making up for a lot of lost time! If you could have only seen the practicing they put into this football game. They had fun, and aside from the ridiculous outfits, we are proud to call them Ours.

Anytime Wyatt heard me open some sort of food, he came running. So this is how I kept him coming to me =)...
